Boyd has been involved in the setting up and running of sales companies for the last 30 years in a variety of industries. This involved all aspects of running a business from recruiting, training, selling, managing, developing systems and people and most importantly looking after the P & L.

Boyd’s experience covers a vast range of industries from the home improvement industry, stock brokers, property developers, foreign property company’s publishers, phone companies to the personal injury claims business. Boyd has been learning and developing for the past 30 years and attended a Tony Robbins course in Florida twenty years ago which changed the way he thought about himself and the sales profession.

Boyd founded The Sales Doctor in 2006 to fill a gap in the training industry. Boyd feels very passionately that training should be participative, fun, a learning experience, but most importantly tailored to the needs of the Client.

Boyd believes that the only way to train is to enthuse, inspire and most importantly challenge people to deal with the everyday problems that sales people face rather than deal with theory.

Boyd has a clear management ethos that is based around inspirational leadership, quality management and creating a culture that nurtures and develops people allowing them to see a clear path within the company.

Sales trainer, NLP Practitioner, sales coach, BNI trainer, Co-Founder of the Sales Doctor.

Tony has over 14 years experience in sales both B2B and B2C and has trained over 1,500 sales professionals in a variety of industries.

Tony started his career at Sitel as a telesales consultant, the largest outsourced call centre, where he was involved in selling B2C for the SSE campaign (Scottish and Southern electric) switching people’s utilities over. He was awarded sales person of the month for three consecutive months and was then moved into a training role where he wrote scripts and rebuttals and trained every new consultant before they got on the phone.

Tony then moved into a B2B environment selling address management solutions for Capscan. He started generating appointments at Director Level and then sold in the field. He then progressed within a year training a team of fourteen telesales executives how to make appointments from cold calling and focusing his time on blue chip clients. In his four years at Capscan he sold the highest value order of £725,000 over a 3 year contract.

Alongside his business partner Tony set up the Sales Doctor in May 2006. He started by cold calling to generate appointments for both himself and his partner Boyd. Within the first year the Sales Doctor had 56 clients and this has continued to grow year on year. In 6 years it has accumulated over 260 clients across 75 different industries. Tony’s ethos is you can sell any product or service with the right attitude and a well planned call structure.

VANESSA MCLENNAN

Vanessa started her sales career working in a fast paced low margin high volume telesales environment selling transport services. She progressed to training other telesales executives and to managing a telesales team. From there she moved into recruitment where she has spent a considerable amount of time recruiting into various sectors and recruiting up to a senior level.

Vanessa was successful at being able to build profitable desks. From there her career moved into learning and development where she has trained in the recruitment, I.T. and energy sectors and trains many people on skills such as phone selling, field sales, negotiation skills and relationship building.

Vanessa holds qualifications in Learning and Development Practice, is an NLP master practitioner and is a qualified clinical hypnotherapist.

JOHN FLETCHER

John is a forward thinking Sales Trainer and Sales Coach with a track record in delivering exception results across a range of industries.

John’s energetic, interactive training delivery ensures that delegates on his courses consistently feel involved, energised and motivated throughout the day. His ability to tailor the courses/coaching to the particular experience and skill levels of the delegates results in learning and action points that are specific and relevant to each individual, ensuring that results are delivered when back in the workplace.

John graduated from Loughborough University in 1994 and successfully worked in a range of Sales and Sales Management roles within Distribution, Leisure, Advertising and Estate Agency. In the last 10 years John has been successfully combining his own role as a Salesperson with delivery of Sales Training and Coaching where he is able to pass on his proven strategies and techniques to enable others to also generate exceptional results.

ELAINE FROSTMAN

Elaine has a wealth of sales, management and leadership experience. Having spent over 23 years in both sales and management roles across media, telecoms and IT, she has a natural empathy as to the real issues facing your sales force and its managers today.

She has worked with many large global corporations in rolling out innovative sales programmes requiring very measurable ROI’s. She operates at senior levels in terms of working collaboratively with your company but also has a hands on approach when it comes to rolling out your training programme. Being passionate about the development of people, Elaine ensures that there is sufficient experiential learning when designing any level of training.

Elaine also works as a highly skilled business coach, working with all levels of people in the organisation. Having gained her accreditation 2004, she has coached many people to help them bring about phenomenal results both personally and in the work place and across all sectors.

She is also accredited to design, facilitate and produce virtual instructor lead training (VILT) which is an area of keen interest within most HR functions currently. She has been part of the VILT team for CISCO on several occasions working across many cultures worldwide. She has also delivered VILT for SAP, SAMSUNG, and in the USA for BP, BAYER, ASTD and MANDEL.

Elaine has worked extensively overseas in Europe, UAE, US and has an understanding of cultural differences when running programmes in these geographical locations. Having worked extensively in the IT and Telecommunications sector, she has an in-depth knowledge of this market and the impact this can have on your sales process.

DAVID ALLEN

David has over 25 years in Sales and has Trained, Coached and Mentored sales people for at least 20 of those.

With a degree in Business Management and Psychology David brings both a strong knowledge of Sales approaches and an in depth understanding of Buyer behaviour to the training environment. David has a fun but focused approach to training and in particular is dedicated to finding ways of practically and effectively transferring learning back into the working environment.

Sue Tonks is a Management and Training Specialist delivering across all aspects Management and Staff Development.

With a varied background of working at senior level within the Logistics, Sales, Travel and Tourism, Government and Hotel and Catering industries Sue has developed an immediate ability to understand the needs of her clients and created results orientated solutions.

Sue has a special ability to connect with her delegates. Her training is delivered in a memorable and fun way - and her ultimate aim is to make training "practical, easy to understand and be put into immediate effect in the workplace for instant and lasting results".
